If you've found our website, and found this page, after doing some research on some type of investment, website, or project you have participated in or invested in out of concern that it might be a scam, in all likelihood, yes it's a scam. 99% of the time when people ask us if a given website is a cryptocurrency scam, the answer is yes, it is. If you are concerned it might be a scam, it usually is a scam in our experience.
While your website could be part of the 1% that isn't, try doing some research on the website. Are you handing over custody of your funds, even if it's to an 'account' in your name? Are you asked to make approvals with your wallet? If so, tread with caution. Have you found any non-sponsored news articles on it? If there are multiple non-sponsored articles that don't question the project, then it's much less likely to be a scam. If you can't find much on it, it probably is a scam.
If you have been trying to withdraw your funds, and the platform has not allowed you to perform a withdrawal, and has instead come up with various excuses (e.g. you have to pay a 'tax' first, or some bogus fee), it is undoubtedly a scam.
Keep in mind that review sites like trustpilot and sitegrabber are highly unreliable; it is very easy to create fake positive reviews on these sites to give an aura of legitimacy to a scam. Reddit posts can be prone to manipulation, and astroturfing and paid comments are both issues on Reddit to be cognizant of.
